Dear Siddhu,
Though i am no expert in this field and going through the same stage . You should look out for schools whose 80% median range is near to 640. you got a good chance in hec paris as i spoke to a student of hec and came to know that there are students with 650 .you are a bit short on work experience part .highlight your extra curricular and other achievements.Best of luck.

Hi,

If you wish to apply to top business schools then one of the prerequisites is having significant work experience. Generally candidates have around 4-5 years of full time experience in spite of several term time projects or jobs; so you may be competing with other candidates who have 4-5 years of full time experience and have started significant initiatives at college.
Hence, we would advise you to gain some full time work experience before you decide to apply for an MBA.
How you can build your profile:
Aiming for top schools score above gmat is ideal. Since you time make sure you improve your scores and build your profile around those lines. GMAT alone won't determine your chances of admission; academics, beyond the academics will and your work experience plays a vital role as well. Generally most of the applicants have a good 4-5 years of work experience. Although it is not just the work experience that counts but also what you did there like-what were your achievements, what initiative you took, what changes you drove in your workplace etc. So to leverage this if you can show that in 6 years you have demonstrated the skills business schools are looking for you could put in a strong set of essays. Hence the quality of your work, your academics and beyond academics will play an important role in determining your candidature.

Yep! Don't rush things dude. Since you need a bit more work experience anyhow, use your next year or two to become a killer shark at work. And you are gonna want to retake that GMAT if those are your target schools.
