Weekend (part-time) MBA at Chicago-Booth or Kellogg - Chance

Hello,

I am working as a IT Project/Program Manager at HP. I took my GMAT yesterday and got a score of 580.

My initial target was SMU COX since I live in Dallas. I think 580 is a decent enough score to apply for Part-time MBA at SMU COX.

My question is:
Is there any chance of getting into the "weekend MBA" program at Chicago-Booth or Kellogg with a score of 580 or is it going to be a waste of time to even apply for it?

Since it is a weekend program, I am trying find out if there is a chance of getting in with a lower score of 580. I have a M.S in computer science with 17 years of experience in IT with the last 7 years as a Project and Program Manager.

I be perfectly honest, your GMAT score may not be competitive for Booth or Kellogg. While not a waste of time to complete the applications, it is important to recognize your score is below their average and thus you'll need to compensate for it in other areas of your application.
