Hi I am 24 yrs. old. I am looking to pursue a Masters Degree in either:
-M.S Finance
-M.S Quantitative Finance & Modeling
-M.S. Accounting
I am interested in pursuing my Masters Degree at either:
-Rutgers University
-Fordham University
-Pace University
-Baruch College
GMAT: 610
Education:
Undergrad in Business Management from a non-competitive school. My overall GPA was 2.3. This was mostly due to a close family issue that occurred during my undergrad years.
Post College Education:
Completed a certificate program in Credit Analysis (12 month program) - competitive-University. My Overall GPA 3.5.
Work Experience:
Worked for 2 years in Finance at a major Bank in the New York. (Department closed)
I am strongly considering a degree in either Accounting or Quantitative Finance to better position myself for a career in Credit Analysis.
*I have no prior accounting experience but have taken a few accounting classes during my undergraduate years
Do I have what it takes to get into one of these programs?
