Hello, Mazdy,

I note that you didn't mention your goals, which is a key element of "fit" with particular MBA programs. Also, it's not clear if your extracurricular activity as a member of this club is extensive or cursory. That point also could have a bearing. From the information you've provided, here are my thoughts on the various schools vis-à-vis your profile.

Stanford - very high reach (almost beyond); GMAT is slightly low for a school with very high scores in this area, and you also are on the older side for this school, which often prefers somewhat younger applicants. Chicago Booth - reasonable reach, good fit. Wharton - reasonable reach, good fit. Carnegie Mellon - on-par, good fit. Columbia - reasonable reach, good fit. Stern - reasonable reach, good fit.

By the way, have you considered Cornell? It seems like it could be a good fit as well.

Best regards,
Cindy Tokumitsu

Hi, Mazdy,

With the additional info, my opinions remain basically the same. The extracurricular/community service is low, which could be a further hindrance at Columbia and Wharton. On the other hand the goals align well. For LBS I'd say basically the same -- reach, but reasonable.

Best regards,
Cindy
