I have a fairly unique profile and I'm unsure how improve it. I am 24 and I currently have a gmat score of 730 (2nd time) and my GPA is 3.0/4.0 @ Top 10 Engineering School. Degree was in chemical engineering. I participated in a cooperative engineering program so I worked for GE for 1.5 years during my schooling. After that in my late sophomore/early junior I started working mostly full time 32-35 hours a week for a procurement consulting company as a consultant full time during school(worked there till I started my current job.)
During my junior year I started an e-commerce business that has been providing me well over 6 figures annually. My grades, however, slipped down to a 3.0 since I don't believe I balanced my studies with my business that well.
I also accepted my job as an investment analyst with citigroup (current employer) before I graduated. I have had promotions as well as substantial leadership experience during my 1.6 years there so far. I was able to finish last course at a satellite campus where I worked.
In total I have about 3-3.5 years professional full time experience but only about little less than one year if you consider my official graduation date.
I have also started a non profit charity that directly relates to my own business. I have really had no time to do any other extra curricular activities due to work, business, and charity.
I would like to attend U of Chicago , Kellog, Wharton, Stanford or Darden. I am considering doing a alternative transcript to help offset the GPA but I am wondering where I stand. Any help would be great.
Regards
