Hi ,
Thanks for taking the time to evaluate. I have heard you in a couple of seminars, and I find your analysis very insightful. I will be grateful, if you could evaluate my profile:

Nationality: Indian,Age : 30

GMAT: 700 (5th attempt)
Undergrad percentage: 78% (top 10% of my class; Scholarship for the entire 4 years )
Grad : 3.8 (MS in computer engineering)
Work Ex:
Intel Corporation(2008-present); worked on the latest products churned out by Intel's Atom Division. Worked across multiple teams around the world.
Siemens wireless Division: 6 months.
Extra-curricular:
Treasurer of a nonprofit for the last 5 years.
President of Toastmasters.(2013-present)
Helping a nonprofit to improve their organization culture through an Intel program.(2013-present)
Regular contributor to my school's Career magazine.

Do you think my profile is competitive for top 10 Schools(Booth, kellog,Columbia,MIT etc)? Which would you recommend ?
I want to go into strategic consultancy with companies such as Bain.
Thank You!

Thanks for the kind words, dude!

Well you have some very very nice firms on your resume, and that will help a lot.

You are a bit on the older side, not toooo old ;) but you gotta count in a slight disadvantage because of it.

The big question is what did you DO since 2008? Other than you worked for Intel I k now little. And it of course matters!

Top 10 are maybe possible with your resume, but I'd suggest covering your back, by applying to a few more in the top 30, to give yourself a range of schools. At 20 I don't think you have the luxury of taking a risk of not getting in, so it's better for you to compromise now on your school list, (while still hoping for the best of course!).
