Hi-- hoping you guys can give me a bit of a reality check on which b-schools i have a legitimate chance at attending.
29 @ matriculation
GMAT - 730 (V41, Q49)
My concern is with my undergrad career. I first attended UC Irvine but has put on academic leave, my mother passed away halfway into my first quarter, and I just simply was too immature and just fouled up. Thereafter, I was a bit of a nomad and went to 2 different colleges before I graduated from Pepperdine while working full-time. In all, it took me roughly 10 years to finish undergrad, with a 3 year hiatus in the middle. I graduated with a cumulative GPA of 2.9, but if you remove my freshman year, I'm at about 3.3. I've been working full-time for 4 years graduated about a year ago putting myself through school.
I've worked full-time as a staff accountant then financial analyst @ Newscorp then with a couple of internet start-ups one of which went public during my tenure.
My target schools: Booth (dream), Stern, Anderson, McCombs, Ross.
Please let me know if these schools are within my reach or if a reality check is in order.
Thanks!
