MS Accounting- need advice please

by tmallin » Tue Nov 12, 2013 7:06 am
Not sure how familiar people are with this topic, but I am looking for recommendations of MS Accounting Programs to apply to. I have a GMAT of only 620 and a GPA of 3.7. Currently in undergrad at a top 40 research institution in the US. I am a white American female. Very involved with extra curriculars and leadership positions. Any advice would be great. Not sure if its worth retaking the GMAT. Thoughts?

U.S. News & World Report has a Top 25 ranking list - https://grad-schools.usnews.rankingsandr ... g-rankings.
Scoring higher on your GMAT would enable you to have a greater chance at getting accepted to a higher ranked score.

A 750 GMAT score would indicate you have a strong chance of gaining acceptance to a Top 30 program, especially if your country of origin is underrepresented.

Also, since you have only 3 months full-time experience you might also consider Masters in Management programs like LBS' (https://www.london.edu/programmes/master ... ement.html).
