Dear man2infinity,

The positives in your profile are a high quantitative score on your GMAT and your entrepreneurship experience. The potential weaknesses in your profile are your verbal score on your GMAT, your average GPA, minimal extracurriculars, and quality of work experience at the IT company. You do not indicate your rationale for getting an MBA or career goals, so I cannot comment on those important aspects. Basically, it will be important for you to demonstrate in your applications that you have the communication skills, both written and verbal, and a solid rationale for an MBA, particularly at this point in time in your career. It will also be important that you identify schools where you will be competitive, so I encourage you to do thorough research on MBA programs where your GMAT and GPA will be above average. For tips on identifying schools that are right for you, please visit our sticky on school selection.

Good luck,
Lisa
