Recs Question

I currently have 2 years of work exp (3 by fall 2013). I had a job as an RA as a senior in college (I had formal reviews as an RA as well), would it make sense to have 1 rec from the past 2 years and ask my RA supervisor if the app asks for two professional references? Or should both come from the past 2 years?

I agree with Alex. Two current professional references would present you as a more mature candidate relative to your peer group than a college reference.
