Hi,
I intend on applying to Wharton this year (R2) and would appreciate your feedback on my profile.
I am a lawyer (specializing in tax and private equity) working in an Indian law firm for the past 40 months. I have a bachelors' degree in law with a 69% First Class/ Top 10% of the class). I am also a qualified Company Secretary (similar to a corporate secretary in the US). I have written a number of articles/ papers in the last three years and spoken at various regional conferences and seminars.
I have no extra-curricular to speak of, in the last couple of years. However, I have a degree in fine arts.
My GMAT score is 680 (Q 44, V 38).
My dream school is Wharton. However, other schools I am considering are: UCLA - Anderson, Columbia, Duke.
Do you think I stand a chance, or should I retake the GMAT and apply with better scores? I would also appreciate any input on choice of schools.
Thanks.
