She means taking additional courses now i.e. quantitative courses if you your GMAT/undergrad transcripts depict a poor understanding of quant. concepts...

hope that helps!

Stacey and Amy are on Christmas break and I am posting on behalf of them (just kidding, I am just bored not having to work and am in no way affiliated with these upstanding ladies). With that, I think you should take 6.7 classes. If you thought I was being serious with that last comment please withdraw all MBA applications and read below...

If you took 4-5 classes after graduation and they were all C's you may want to take some more. If they were all A's and addressed subject areas that may appear weak on your application, then I would assume you are headed in the right direction.

Good luck and Happy New Year!

Hi austindude and hudsn,

Thanks to Daniel for that input - I always appreciate advice from your fellow applicants, it's great to share knowledge since I know you are all spending a lot of time on this process!

I'm going to post a sticky on what to do about a low GPA that may help.

Good luck!

I took a few classes at (around 4 or so) at a community college after my undergrad 4 all A's except for a B in accounting and 1 mba grad level math class.

Right now I am focusing on the GMAT. Do you think that is enough classes for an alt. transcript?

Hi hudsn,

If you took calculus, stats and economics and got A's I think that's enough.

Good luck!

I took some finance classes, mgt classes, and at the MBA level math methods for business. I cant really afford more than a community college level do you think I should take an eco class ? I got a 3.78 from the 18 or so community college credits thats after my undergrad all A's in biz and mgt and finance classes and 1 science class Chemistry A also, but a B in accounting and an A in a pre-MBA program at a NYC MBA Prog in a math methods for business class. Right now I am trying to focus on my gmat do you think that is enough classes?
