Dear mtvmty,

If you have spent any time on this forum or other sites, you will know that you have one of (if not the most) common profile in the global MBA applicant pool. Thus your application has to be exceptional for admission to a top 20 program and quite strong for a top 50 program. As such, your GMAT score becomes more important and you should aim for something in the 700-800 range. Likewise, you will need to highlight unique examples in your background which demonstrate your leadership potential and teamwork skills. Perhaps there are some other threads you can visit from Indian engineers that will give you some additional tips?

Good luck,
Lisa

Thanks Lisa for your feedback.

I know I need an exceptional GMAT score to get into top business schools.
I am further looking to improve my profile a bit in current year and I need to highlight those things in my essays too.
