In any large business organisation, teamwork is the ultimate key to the organisation's success.

The success of a large business organisation depends on various factors, but it goes without saying that teamwork and coordination among employees is the key to the success of an organisation. Large organisations are comprised of large number of people from diverse backgrounds and team work among them is the key to the success of the organisation. It is correctly said that when a group of people set out to achieve something, nothing is impossible, so if their team work in an organisation, there is little that can hamper its success.

The success of and organisation depends on the efficiency with which it operates and the speed of innovation within the organisation.Team work is necessary to achieve both these goals. The nature of work in large organisations is often complex and it is not feasible for a single individual to understand or be an expert at everything about the organisation, so team work is needed. The size of projects is also too large for a single individual to handle but when the same work is assigned to a group and their is coordination among them, the task can be divided in smaller units and the tasks can be achieved more efficiently and faster. An example of an successful organisation where team work is exemplary is Google, where engineers are encouraged to coordinate and interact among themselves to discuss and collaborate.

Innovation also key to the success of an organisation. Team work is the key to innovation, as it results in free flow of ideas and better collaboration among employees. If employees are geared towards achieving a common goal, it helps fuel innovation in the organisation , as they can discuss their ideas in a conducive environment where they will be helped to refine and implement their ideas by their teams. It is said a lion cub was killed by a colony of ants. So when many work together, great things can be accomplished.

Although team work is necessary for the success of an organisation, alone its not sufficient. Organisations need to provide employees with a motivating and conducive environment where they flourish. Individual development is also as important as the development of the team. If employees feel unsatisfied on a personal level, then it is difficult for them to give their best for the team. Management of employees to ensure everyone fits where they are is also necessary.

In sum, team work is the key to the success of large business organisations. As someone once said, “All good work is done the way ants do things, little by little”. So if every employee in a team and every team in the organisation does its part, success is guaranteed.
