Hi,
I have done my B.E. in Industrial Engineer in India. My Engineering Percentage was 70. Following are some of the extracurricular activities I was into during my college times:
Secretary of OASIS-Entrepreneur Development Cell
Initiator, Student-In charge and Student Convenor of an event in College's Annual Festival
Head of an Event in Industrial Engineering Society Installation
Active member of NSS (National Social Service)
Music Club Member and Music Cup Winner
Member of Indian Institute of Industrial Engineering
I have also received couple of letters of appreciation from my college for my active participation in college events while managing the academics.
Presently, I am working in accenture as a software engineer for almost an year. I am yet to appear for GMAT. What would be my chances of getting into a good university if I can get more than 720 in GMAT and a 2 year work experience?
Also, as I have learnt from some, being an Engineer and having a work experience in an IT industry won't make me different from the crowd as the mass is having the same combination with a much greater experience and still struggling to get into a good university. Should I think of switching my job to the one closer to the kind of MBA I wish to pursue? How soon will be able to get into a college for MBA if I switch my job?
Please suggest how I can further improve my profile.
Thanks a lot.
