Hi Stacy,

I am an Indian applying for Full time MBA Fall 2009. Till date I have 3.5 years of work-ex in IT MNC and a lousy GMAT score of 660 (Q49, V31). I have been into regular community services for almost 3 years now ..but something of not the sort that could get me an award :)

I have strong extracurriculars from my school days and a strong GPA of 3.7 in my bachelors.

I got a ding from Emory Goizueta and USC Marshall already. I have applied to Washington Olin School and Georgetown McDonough as well and awaiting their results.

This complete procedure is quite nerve wrecking and am afraid I may not get call from any of the colleges. Can you suggest me few colleges where the chance of getting in would be high? I do not plan to get into college ranked below 80. Thanks

Dear sad but true,

I would suggest identifying smaller programs that are a good match for your career goals and whose GMAT averages are below 660. Many of these schools are recognized for a specific program or component of the program. For additional tips, visit our sticky on school selection.

Good luck,
Lisa
