Hi,
I prepared for GMAT for 3 months, I never crossed a verbal score of 30 in my practice tests. Max score I achieved was 29. Final GMAT I got 25.
I studied PR, Manhattan SC, OG11 and OG verbal. I studied each and every problem of these books.
My personal observation on various topics,
SC - After studying Manhattan, I improved quite a bit. But my success rate was max. 75%.
RC - Whenever I spent more time to read the passage, I scored well, but in the process ran out of time. Invariably got the questions wrong which ask for theme, opinion, assumptions etc.
CR - Take a lot of time to read and answer CR. Invariably, do not get any clue after first reading.
Essays - I got 4.0 AWA score. On that day I was happy the way I wrote the essays but the score is not in line with my thinking.
It seems something is fundamentally wrong. Can anybody suggest the way forward. I intend to spend max two months on verbal before taking GMAT again ( I am already scoring 47-49 in Quant).
