Whats wrong with 'A' grammatically? Any explaination for OA?

Whats wrong with 'A' grammatically? Any explaination for OA?




"Cannon that shoots" makes more sense, so A, B and C are out.

Between D and E, E is appropreate choice because of "in demonstrating" is better than "to demonstrate"
