If xy = 165

If xy = 165, where x and y are positive integers and x > y, what is the least possible value of x – y ?
A. 2
B. 4
C. 8
D. 15
E. 28

Y=5

X-Y = 8
Dude, u got the question wrong. It says 165 and not 65.

so, X=15, Y=11
and hence 4

Y=5

X-Y = 8
prime Factor 165.
5 x 3 x 11.

Now find all combition of XY where X>Y

(15,11)
(33,5)
(55,3)

Of these X-Y is least with (15,11)
15-11=4.
Choose B.
