i think created is used for atoms and molecules from explosion .. not for particles which make interstellar dust ...

b. persists .. goes against noun as it is particles so plural verb
c. persisted.... against verb tense comprise ... persisted
d.they persist
e.are persisting
d and e does not make sense as
with conjunction and persisting is more good to ears than d and e ..

please revert if i m wrong
life is tragedy to those who feel and comedy to those who think

Big bang governs behavior of interstellar particles - progressive
particles comprised of atoms and molecules created - past
