Now xy : yz : zx = xy/xyz : yz/xyz : zx/xyz = 1/z : 1/x : 1/y = 1 : 2 : 3.
We need to know x/yz : y/zx = (x/yz)*xyz : (y/zx)*xyz = x^2 : y^2.
Since 1/z : 1/x : 1/y = 1 : 2 : 3, 1/x : 1/y = 2:3.
So x:y is 3:2.
Or x^2 : y^2 = 9:4.

The correct answer is D.

A quick and safe approach would be to plug in values:

xy:yz = 1:2, so x:z = 1:2
yz:zx = 2:3, so y: x = 2:3

Let's plug in x=3, y=2, z=6.

x/yz : y/zx = 3/(2*6) : 2/(6*3) = 1/4 : 1/9 = 9:4.

The correct answer is D.
