multiples.....zero and one?

I can memorize but I find it much easier to understand....

Can someone please explain why zero is a multiple of all numbers and yet it is the only number that does not have an infinite set of multiples...

Also, why is one not a multiple of all numbers

A "multiple" of a number(integer) is defined as the product of a quantity with that number.

For e.g. Lets take 9
Multiples of 9 =
9x1 = 9
9x2 = 18
9x45 = 405

All the numbers on the right hand side are called Multiples of 9
Finally 9x 0 = 0
So 0 will be a multiple of all numbers

As we always consider Integers for multiples, 1 will never be a multiple of any other number except itself.
