Let s = side length of square
4s = 24, therefore s = 6
Radius of circle can be calculated by observing a simple drawing (it's critical to always draw what the question is asking!).
You will notice that the radius, r, will be the hypotenuse of a right isosceles triangle. The other two sides of the triangle are bounded by one-half of a side of the square.
r^2 = 3^2 + 3^2
r = 3*sqrt(2)
Circ = 2*pi*r = 6*sqrt(2)*pi
