a general question on divisibility

Lets say a statement says: N is divisible by 3. It is no mentioned that N is an integer.

So 3/3 is GOOD

How about 3.3/3 = 1.1...can this equation be considered as TRUE as well? 3.3 is divisible by 3 right?

Well IMO when we are talking about questions like these, we do not consider decimal fractions , only fractions which require the numerator to be an integer.

Good question, guys - and nice answer, eaakbari. Divisibility as a concept means that we're talking about integers in both the numerator and denominator. Otherwise, anything (other than 0 in the denominator) could qualify.
