Strategy for Probability

Can anyone suggest when it is better to use Combination nCr vs when it is better to use counting method ? Examples will be be appreciated.
I finally get the answer but it consumes lot of time. This happens for bit difficult questions.

If you've come across specific prompts that have taken you a long time to solve (or have given you any type of trouble), then you should post them here. You would probably find it beneficial to watch the Experts and other Users work through those questions.
