Hey,
Here's a detailed outline:
4/[5-(a/b)] = 1
Multiply both sides by 5-(a/b):
4 = 5 - a/b
Subtract 5 from both sides:
4 - 5 = -a/b
-1 = -a/b
Multiply both sides by -1:
1 = a/b
Multiply both sides by b:
b = a
That's pretty much it.
