Hello,

So far so good – it looks like you may have the basic framework to be qualified for top programs. Yet to be competitive for top programs you also need to demonstrate: strong leadership at work, involvement in the community outside of work (and ideally leadership in this area), and well-thought-through and engaging goals. Even if you are qualified by the numbers, you have to give the adcoms a reason to admit you over other well qualified applicants, considering that top MBA programs reject the majority of such applicants.

Planning now for 2010 will allow you to work on any of these areas that might be lacking -- good luck!

Best regards,
