IMO D "Eventhough" is used to introduce contrary to the fact meaning. So the storm has to come from the opposite side that is west NOT sides or directions. Hope its the right answer. whats the OA?

IMO D

develop to the west and approach from the opposite direction.

Develop should be parallel to approach
and appraoch from should be used in place of " towards"

B is wrong because when we say approach we never use toward rather we always use from

its an idiom

received a pm.

"approach" and "toward" are an illegal combination, but it's not really an issue of idiom -- it's redundancy; the word approach already carries the meaning of "toward".
