My pick is A.

the each part is clearly describing the shades.

If we rule out B for being, A remains

What is the OA?

My doubts between A and C. If I were at real test I would have choosen A. But again, i don't see why is C incorrect or no so correct.

Atlantic, golden rule for SC says that if you see being in any sentence mark it WRONG. The reason most of the times is wordiness....


the only exception is when idiomatic expression is used..E.g In addition to being one of the first restaurants in the area, XYZ is also the best..

In almost all other cases mark sentences with being wrong

Yes, cause as per D and E, there are multiple "roofs" on each shelter. This is not the case, the correct interpretation is each shelter has a roof...

Also, in E the Tense used is present tense "are", where as the whole sentence correction is in past tense "lived". i ruled out E because of this.

Is this correct ??? or is it that if other things had been correct in E, then usage of present tense wud hve amounted to a correct sentence ?

First I choosed E , yet A is the best answer. Here we need ‘’each’’ to describe each shades’ specification.
(A) each a roof of poles and arrowweed
(B) each a roof of poles and arrowweed that are being –being is used OUT-
(C) with each being a roof of poles and arrowweed –being is used OUT-
(D) with roofs of poles and arrowweed to be
(E) with roofs of poles and arrowweed that are-all of the sentence is written with past simple ….lived ,…..supported so we need to eliminate the answer -OUT
