If you feel you are a strong writer, good interviewee, and will have excellent letters of recommendation, then I think you should apply to some top 15 programs. Your GMAT is competitive, even though slightly below average, as you have a strong quantitative foundation and your score within the mid-50% range. To give yourself the best chance, your entire application package will need to make a compelling case for your admission and be of the highest quality. I would also encourage you to have a mix of schools, some reasonable and safety options, to ensure you will be in business school in fall 2011.
