Hello,

From the information you've provided I think you are fundamentally qualified for all the programs. Among them, Cornell, Duke, Stern, and maybe ISB would be reasonable reaches. However, even though you are qualified by the numbers at least, Chicago and possibly Insead might be closer to "not within reach." The remaining schools would be on par - I wouldn't go so far as to call them safeties.

Once you're in this "qualified" zone, so much depends on the execution of your application and how you can differentiate yourself through your goals, your insights, and your demonstration of excellence at work. As an Indian in the IT domain, you face a particular challenge even at the "reasonable reach" schools because of the over-representation of this group. Right now, from the information you've provided, I've not noticed an immediate differentiator. In developing your application keep this question in mind: Why would these schools select you out of many, many other similarly and better qualified applicants from the same industry and demographic groups? Giving them the reason to do so is in effect the mission of your application process.

Best regards,
Cindy Tokumitsu
