Unlike lions and tigers, which can be roaring by causing its hyoid bones to vibrate, domestic
cats have fixed hyoid bones and are therefore unable to roar.
A) which can be roaring by causing its hyoid bones to vibrate, domestic cats
B) which can roar by causing their hyoid bones to vibrate, domestic cats
C) who can roar by causing their hyoid bones to vibrate, domestic cats differently
D) who can roar by causing its hyoid bones to vibrate, domestic cats
E) of which the hyoid bones vibrate to cause a roar, domestic cats
F) who can roar by causing their hyoid bones to vibrate, domestic cats

eliminate wrong options with reasoning.

Between B and F...I go with B.

first, begin the phrase with relative pronoun. who/which -- eliminate E
second, make sure noun follows comma after the modifying phrase such as 'domestic cats'
-- eliminate C
third, remove choices with 'its' for agreement issues - eliminate A and D
Between B and F, I'd reserve 'who' for humans so eliminate F.

Hi,
'who cannot refer to animals. So, C,D,F are out.
plural subject. So, 'its' is incorrect. A is out
'hybrid bones' cannot vibrate by themselves. the animal makes hybrid bones vibrate. So, E is out because of meaning.

I know that 'who' is sometimes used to refer to animals(according to some grammar books I have followed) as well. But 'which' is always preferred unless there is some other mistake.

Hence, B
