Yep A it is.
Idiom usage is being tested here.
It helps to remember the idioms so that if u identify one part of an idiom, u can start hunting for the rest of the idiom. If the complete idiom is not part of the underlined part, then u can start looking for other errors that could be lurking around. However, if u find part of the idiom continues into the underlined part, then the choice having the correct idiom usage is the correct answer.
