paradox

The last option and OA is:
E: Many small channels are funded by public donations.

My question is why not B but E. As the argument comes up with final 2 observations, E answers second one while B answers first one.
The question asks you to explain why the contradiction in apparent- which contradiction?... That small tv companies are flourishing in spite of a cut in revenues from tv advertising.

B tells you why tv ad revenues are down but does not explain the paradox.
E explains that why, in spite of the revenue reduction, the small companies are flourishing.

It's not about the first part or second part but about explaining the paradox.

I hope I am clear.

What I want to ask is that the argument cite observations such as "tv viewership is increasing" and "small businesses are growing. So, both the statements are parallel. So, both of the sentences can be contradicting.
