Here you go...

Straight from the table:
m=z+4
n=e+y
---------------------(Adding the above 2 eqns)
m+n=z+e+4+y

Straight from the table:
z+e=10

Now all you need is value of y.
From the table: y+4 = -5. So y = -9

m+n = 10+4+(-9)
= 5

Thanks Lalita, that makes sense :D . My basic understanding of the problem was wrong :(
