town A to town B

The distance from town A to town B is five miles. C is six miles from B. Which of the following could be the distance from A to C?
I. 11
II. 1
III. 7
A. I only
B. II only
C. I and II only
D. II and III only
E. I, II, or III.

The distance from town A to town B is five miles. C is six miles from B. Which of the following could be the distance from A to C?
I. 11
II. 1
III. 7

C can be
before A. Then 6-5=1
after B, then 6+5 = 11
Its not given that ABC are in staright line.
ABC can form a triangle too.
Hence distance between A and C can be 7 too.

yes 7 also possible.

In triangle form,

2 sides are 5 and 6.third side is AC.

1>AC<11
