What is the median value of the set R, if for every term in the set, Rn = Rn-1 + 3?

In a group of 68 students, each student is registered for at least one of three classes - History, Math and English. Twenty-five students are registered for History, twenty-five students are registered for Math, and thirty-four students are registered for English. I'll take the first one, but please repost:

Question 1

What is the median value of the set R, if for every term in the set, Rn = Rn-1 + 3?

(1) The first term of set R is 15.

(2) The mean of set R is 36.



The sequence increases by 3, meaning it is evenly spaced. When sequences are evenly space the mean ALWAYS equals the median.

1) The beginning does not help without the number of terms.
2) Exactly what we need per the description above.
