x < ∞ means that "x is less than infinity."
This inequality seems illogical.
Ignore this problem.
To my knowledge, the infinity symbol -- ∞ -- has never appeared on the GMAT.

Having ∞ and -∞ as the bounds looks janky to me: the GMAT would simply give -2 < x, not -2 < x < ∞.
