Hi All,
Took the GMAT this past Saturday and scored a 530 (last practice CAT was a 570).

I took the Manhattan GMAT class last March and beeen using the OG guides and the MGMAT resources to study. I would like to score in 650 range.

Is a score in this range even possible? I feel very defeated at this point. I plan on taking a week off from studying to regroup and relax before I dive back into things.

I was hoping someone can suggest a study plan or plan of attack this time around to help me attain the score I am aiming for. I was thinking 2 months before the re-take as well (too long? Not long enough?)

Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks

650 is possible
and its not very difficulty.

Difficulty comes improving post 700.

2 months would be more than suffuicient as you are already at 530 level.

650 should not be a prolem

Hi. If you are aiming for a 650 a decent amount of practice with OG 10 and 11 with understanding the concepts behind the questions will easily get you to 650. Also I suggest using tough math questions such a s Kaplan 800 to prepare for math section.

Also, when you are taking practice sets, say 50 questions in a setting, time yourself. Try to achieve 2 minutes or less per question. You won't hit the limit at first, but being aware of your timing will improve your confidence durring timed practice exams, and the real thing on G-Day.
