Critical reasoning

by xx » Fri Jun 17, 2011 9:53 am
Hi,

I have done questions from GMAT official guide on critical reasoning, still am not getting confidence. I am able to solve only 60% of question. Suggest some tips to improve. Currently, have started reading comprehension part. Finding it tough too..

Thanks.

1. You have not mentioned what is causing the problem - are you struggling to use negation on assumption-based questions, or are you not able to understand why the answer choice needs to be 100% correct on content based question, or do you need to have a strategy for sructure based questions such as bold-face?

2. 60% accuracy in which questions? I hope you are practicing from the OG. Also don't worry about a lower accuracy when you start your prep. Typically it means you are learning and there should be signs of improvement if you analyze the questions well :)
