It is possible to hold a certain image in your mind for long periods, and this can have a salutary impact on your own behavior and character.

• image in your mind for long periods, and this can have a salutary impact on your own
• image in your mind for long periods, and this can have a salutary impact on one’s

• image in your mind for long periods, which has a salutary Impact on your

Answer is A. I think the answer should be D because it omits 'own' which seems redundant in this sentence, but the explanation is that 'for a long period' is wrong. Can anyone explain why?

IMO D should be the one.A can definitly not be the choice,as 'own' is redundant for sure
