Need advice...

by uttikk » Tue Jun 29, 2010 8:57 am
Hi,
I am new to this arena. I recently completed my graduation from one of the top engineering colleges in India and presently working as a finance analyst for VKS (UBS affiliate) in India.

I want to pursue my MBA in one of the finest B-schools in the world.

I started my GMAT preparation very recently and am following the 60 day tutorial to an extent as i am unable to spend 4 5 hrs a day.

I am spending around 2 hrs a day to prepare for my GMAT and increasing it to 5 to 6 hrs on weekends.

I took the GMAT prep test 1 yesterday and got a score of 620 (Quant - 48, Verbal - 28).
I being from a maths background could solve the quant problems easily. My problem is with Verbal. (Not exactly problem but that is what the test conveys)

I AM AIMING AT A SCORE OF AROUND 750. I am quite serious about the test as well as my MBA.
I am planning to take the GMAT in the month of October '10.

Kindly suggest me the ways of achieving my target.

Regards
