Again a sham with a 620

by ketan9 » Fri Sep 16, 2011 12:12 pm
I dont even know what to right here just failed yet again today.. Took my GMAT first try this january with a 600(Q43,V 28) again took the exam today and scored a 620( Q42, V33) just dont know what do this time I mean I happen to be good at quants at my practice times even the exam was good no questions threw me off other then the first one which was just lengthy nthing else......

This time, unlike the last time quant went pretty well.......... This one is a pathetic score for quants specially took GMAT prep with all 700 the lowest this time considered had some repeats at time but I always purposely made all the questions i had seen before wrong.... Even the scores were not inflated to that an extent..... My lowest in MGMAT was 47 in quant never went less than that... Have even scored a Q 50 on MGMAT tests... this is just so unexpected... I am clueless and empty from inside now........ I may not be good for a Q51 but I am not bad enough for some thing as low as 42 ... Did all the questions from official questions all from GMAT prep properly but just dont know what happened....

Verbal, atleast with a descent 48-49 in quant which I was expecting once I was done with quant could have given me a 650-660..... atleast some thing to boost me a little bit for another attempt.... but now I dnt see any thing coming along Just so baffled.. I still tend to see the score sheet again to confirm if that is what the original thing I have scored...

My practice scores MGMAT 1 650 (Q47)
MGMAT 2 680 (Q48)
MGMAT 3 700 (Q 49)
MGMAT 4 720 (Q 50)

and even the first time that I took GMAT prep as a diagnostic i had 48 there which was my first test in dec last year I wasn that bad ever with my quants .....

any advice is solicited..... dnt know what to do being an Indian average IT profile not even good enough to apply...... third attempt dnt know what I am expecting out of it........ ????????????

Please Instructors help me out on what u have to say went wrong..

Time management on quant and verbal? Did you finish ahead of time / on time / guess a few at the end?

You've probably made several careless mistakes that you're not aware of !
