Hello,
I need this forum help to diagnose what could have gone wrong with my verbal score.
I wrote my GMAT exam on 13th May 09 and got score of 580 - much less than the minimum score from my prep tests. I consistently scored between 690 and 740 in Gmatprep tests, with verbal scores ranging from 35-42. Hence, I was very confident that I would hit around 690 score at minimum.
But the shock came after I clicked "proceed to score" in the actual test. I scored 580 with 48 in math and 21 (so poor) in verbal. I couldn't believe myself with this verbal score, as even without any preparation, one could have got this score.
I feel that my performance in the actual test was as good as my previous prep test performances. But still I scored the rock bottom in verbal. can you please help me, based on your experience, what could have gone wrong in the actual exam, leading to this poor score in verbal.
