Modifiers & Modufying clauses

People who jog frequently develop knee problems.

Though this one is not MCQ..i am not able to understand whats the mistake in this sentence.

In that sentence, frequently can modify jog or develop. Thus, the modifier is ambiguous.

people who jog frequently....
or
.....frequently develop.


Hope this helps please share your thoughts if I made a mistake somewhere.

Ya you are right thts wat i feel

can we conclude that usually...

Verb - adverb-Verb AND
Noun - Adjective - Noun

kind of construction is incorrect coz it leaves lot of room for ambiguity...or if its not a rule at least we must be careful when we see such constructions...
