two subjects which - which verb to attach?

when a singular subject and a plural subjects are brought together by and, what verb is attached to it?

how do i approach a term that has two different subjects?

AND always yields a plural subject/object, hence the verb should also be plural....

I advice you to go through a good book on sentence correction, it will help you a lot with basics.
