s=2/n/1x+2/3x

what is the value of s?

1. x=2n
2. n=1/2

original equation boils down to s=6x/5n

how is statement 1 correct? I put C

Sorry i cant read ur question stem properly but if question boils down to 6x/5n then u can put n=x/2 from statement 1,you can get the value of s as x is cancelled.

Hope this help.

Is the original questions (2/n)/x or is it 2/(n/x)? That has a large impact on your answer.

DS # 127:

It does simplify as 6x/5n.
By substituting (1) x=2n, n cancels out & u get the value for S. Sufficient
But (2) alone is insufficient.

Hence, ans is A

i guess in that case a is not the answer since both x and n can be 0 which results in s = 0 ,if x and n are non-zero only then we can cancel ,hence answer is c imo.whats oa?
