CR - OG question , need extra reasoning.

Kindly clarify with valid reasoning and counter reasoning. I Did NOT find the explanation in OG13 of any use.

Male bowerbirds construct elaborately decorated nests, or bowers. Basing their judgment on the fact that different local populations of bowerbirds of the same species build bowers that exhibit different building and decorative styles, researchers have concluded that the bowerbirds' building styles are a culturally acquired, rather than a genetically transmitted, trait.

Which of the following, if true, would most strengthen the conclusion drawn by the researchers?

(A) There are more common characteristics than there are differences among the bower-building styles of the local bowerbird population that has been studied most extensively.
( my take on this option A is that , since there is a lot in common in the local population , its because of the cultural factor , for eg temples in particular region have a common architecture coz its culturally learnt not coz of inheritance )

(B) Young male bowerbirds are inept at bower-building and apparently spend years watching their elders before becoming accomplished in the local bower style. ( My take of option B is , if they are spending years watching the elders, how can we assume the elders have learnt it from the others in the population , may be if the elder has learnt from the earlier elder , this very well looks gentic or in the family thing )

Hi Marik,
Conclusion: Bowerbirds building style is culturally acquired rather than a genetic trat.
P-> Different local population of bowerbird exihibit different style od building.

Prethinking-> Hence, we are lookin for a statement which is more inclined towards bowerbirds style of building that is culturally acquired. What if the bowerbirds possess some learning skills.

Option B clearly states that young bowerbirds learn building style by watching their elders building
However, Option A states that other common characterstics taking precedence over bower building styles which is studied extensively. This is irrelevant.
