Is the statement sufficient?

A group of rabbits multiplies at a constant rate. By
what factor does its population increase every day?

(1) The population grows from 200 to 5,000 in one
week.

Hi Paresh,

I hope you are well. That statement does looks sufficient.

We can set up a chart to illustrate the population growth. Each day the population grows at a constant rate. Let's call that X.

Day Population
1 200
2 200x
3 200x^2
4 200x^3
5 200x^4
6 200x^5
7 200x^6 or 5,000 (according the statement)


So you can solve 200x^6 = 500. The resulting number will be the factor by which the rabbit population multiplies on a daily basis.

Making charts like the one above is VERY helpful on the GMAT for all sorts of questions.
