A. powered, and will not be subjected to emissions-control standards as stringent as they are for

B. powered, and therefore not subjected to emissions-control standards that are as stringent as those of

C. powered and therefore not subject to emissions-control standards as stringent as those for

D. powered, which are not subject to emissions-control standards as stringent as they are for

E. powered and therefore they are not subject to emissions-control standards as stringent as those of

Confused bw B and C

IMO C.

" as stringent as those for " is better than " as stringent as those of"

Also in option B ",and therefore" is not correct.Comma+FANBOYS is the correct one.

Please correct me if I am wrong..

IMO C

Objective pronoun "those" should be used here, instaed of "they"
AD Out
E has redundant "they"
"Standards for diesel vehicles" is correct
Not "Standards of diesel vehicles"

pick C

What is Comma+FANBOYS ??
FANBOYS means For, And, Nor, But, Or, Yet, So(ie)Coordinating Conjunctions.

To join two sentences with COMMA,we must use one of these conjunctions to avoid runon sentence.

which is the right usage

"and therefore not subjected to" or "and therefore not subject to"

I thought Subjected to is correct. Option C uses "subject to"
